Long time no blogging!

How is everyone doing? sorry for not keeping yous all in the know about whats happening! Well our football fun day is a week on Tuesday!!!! really looking forward to it, but we have alott of work to do until then!

I really hope that it is going to be a success, it will be :D

Will let you know what we're up too, this week so far we have another meeting with braidburn, to finalise names etc :D

ChangeIt Final 2009

Hi Everyone!!

We had an amazing time on Thursday! Still can't believe that we were one of the winners! We will definitely use the money wisely! Thank you to everyone who took part or helped organise the event it was a great day and experience to be part of!!!!
Well done to Dan and everyone from The Friends of Heriot Grange. :D And also well done to everyone who made it to the final, it was an amazing achievement in itself to get that far!
We hope to keep in touch with everyone and see how your ideas are going! We will keep you posted on how our Play All Day event is going too :)

D-DAY!!!!!!

Today along with our spring music concert Eilidh and I were practicing our presentation like mad to make sure we had every little detail correct!
Just to wish everyone good luck for tomorrow from Eilidh and myself and we're sure that everyone will be brilliant!

Update...

Well, that me back from my holiday and Dania is back tomorrow, so I think an update is in order...
We are both meeting up on Monday morning bright and early and going up to the Marie Curie Hospice to meet with the head of the fundraising section inside the hospice. We are going up to pick up all our bits and pieces that we will need.
After that, we will go back to one of our houses and get working. First, we will get the presentation ready for the dragons, so we can take it into school on Tuesday and present it to Ms Statham and see what she thinks. That will be most of our day spent on that!
Then we will begin the mammoth task of writing letters to lots of different people asking for their support. We will be up to midnight! Hope you are all getting on well!

Just a wee update!!!

Hey, Eilidh and I have been on Holiday for the last 10 days and havent written to the blog in a while so I thought that I would just keep everyone updated with how we are getting on with our project!!
Well before we went on holiday we had been getting on really good and things were starting to get together! In the last week before we broke up we managed to arrange to have meetings with the head teachers at Braidburn School and Oxgangs Primary after the holidays, we also took lots of pictures of our school and also managed to go up to the Marie Curie Hospice (who we are giving half the money that we raise to) and take some pictures and arrange to collect a few fundraising things later in April! And also on the last day of school we met up with the computer technian at school, who knew scaraley too much about computers, who helped us with a few things on our blog!
Oh and also before I forget, I dont think that Eiligh and I have told you yet but we have also decided to invovle a primary school (Oxgangs Primary) which is near our school and is also part of the "Firrhill Village", so now it will be a whole community event and will help break down any barriers we may have!!
We are now begining to work on our presentation for London!!

Does anyone know of any football players that can come along?
Today me and Dania were at George Watsons College for the final event of Your turn. It was really fun! Watson's is really big, but i personally like Firrhill :) We had the director of the Scottish Council in with us and another person called who is a positive thinking expert and also runs a management business that work with the SFA! So we have got his card and he has told us to drop him an email and he'll see what he can do. He told us we were a insperation, and the world needs more for us! So we are really chuffed :) So thanks go to your turn for another great day!

We are going to upload some pictures today and also begin to start on our presentation for the dragons so we can get it all done before the easter holidays! So dragons, if you read this, please dont ask lots of hard questions!
